George Mugane
Team Leader
Mr. George Mugane is the founding partner as well as the Team Leader of Mugane & Company Advocates. He is a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public.
He oversees the Firm’s legal matters, harnessing his command of legal principles and years of experience to delivery of quality services to our esteemed clients. He uses his experience to cut through delay and bureaucracy, delivering legally robust and commercially viable solutions swiftly and efficiently.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the Kampala International University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He is also a member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) and the current Chairperson of Kiambu County Physical & Land Use Planning Liaison Committee.
He has extensive experience in the following areas:
Property Law and conveyancing
Land purchase and sales transactions, projects and joint ventures, change of user in the real estate sector, Leasing of any property (land and business equipment);
Bank Securities
Preparation and perfection of banking securities including legal charges, debentures, Subordination Agreements, Chattels Mortgage, Guarantees, Loan Agreements, Deed of Assignments and Hire Purchase Agreements etc;
Intellectual property law
Registration of trademarks, patents and copyrights; Incorporation of companies, Business Names, Trusts, NGOs, Societies and Foundations;
Commercial and Corporate Law
Preparation of agreements and documents including shareholders agreements, franchise, distributorship and agency agreements, Corporate restructuring, Energy Law, Company Law etc;
